On one particularly hectic day when my three children were small, I felt as if I'd come to the end of my rope.

PRAYER FOR MAY 2013
Dear God,
I see from this verse that I in this frail, earthly body have a place within in which good and precious things are collected and laid up, a storehouse of treasure.
That place is where Your Holy Spirit resides.
Because I have believed and received Your Son Jesus as my Savior, You have given me Your Holy Spirit to dwell within me forever.
It is His excellent power that the world sees in me when I boldly proclaim Your word or am persecuted for my faith.
It is because of this excellent power that I, a frail earthly vessel, can stand strong.
I thank You God, that I am Your chosen vessel, filled with Your precious treasure.
May I always remember this as I go about my days in this world. Amen.
