A
Psalms Prayer Pocket for when you are:
ANGRY
Be
angry, and do not sin.
Meditate within your heart on your bed,
and be still.
Selah.
(Selah means: stop and think about
that.)
Psalm 4:4
Cease from anger, and forsake
wrath;
Do not fret--it only causes harm.
Psalm 37:8
Pocket
Prayer:
Dear
Lord, today I am angry because: ________________________.
Lord, I
do not want to sin by letting my anger get out of control.
So
right now, in my anger, I will stop and think about it,
I will go
to a quiet place, meditate, and be still.
This action of sitting
alone, thinking and being still
will eventually cause my anger to
cease and help me to overcome it.
Then, I need to completely let
it go,
give it to You, Lord, and not worry about it,
because I
do not want to cause any harm to myself or others.
I want to be
like You, Dear Lord, for You are:
Slow to anger and great in
mercy.
Psalm 145:8
