Dear God, as I start this new year I am so glad for this hope that I have.
My hope in You believes that You love me...because Your word tells me that You do.(1John 4:10)
My hope desires for the peace that only You can give. (John 14:27)
My hope trusts in You and Your word. (Proverbs 30:5)
My hope is an anchor that holds me firmly when the winds of adversity blow all around me. (Hebrews 6:19)
My hope is sure. My hope is truth. My hope will not fail. (Hebrews 10:23)
I am so thankful for this hope that will keep me on course and steady me everyday.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

A guy was bragging to his friends about his singing fish.
No one believes him so he invites them around one evening to witness for themselves.
When the time for the fish to sing arrives, there is nothing but a few bubbles and a low hum.
"Ha!" says his friends "We knew your fish couldn't sing!"
"That's what you think, my fish CAN sing ! He's just a little off key! Do you all know how difficult it is to tuna fish ?"
