Exhort
means:
- to caution
- to advise
- to urge
In other words, we believers should
be advising one another daily in the ways of the Lord.
We
should be cautioning one another about sin.
We should be urging
one another to keep focused on the Lord and His way and
will.
...while it is called "Today"
ONE-ANOTHERING IN
ACTION:"Today" means "this very day" or now, the present
time we are in.
Each day we have an opportunity to "one
another" with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Let's be sure
to seize that opportunity today and exhort one another so none of
us will be deceived by sin or hardened against God.
You
must warn each other every day, as long as it is called
"today,"
so that none of you will be deceived by sin and
hardened against God.Hebrews 3:13 [NLT]
Preach
the word! Be ready in season and out of season.
Convince,
rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.2
