Evil
means:
- morally wrong or bad; immoral
- harmful; injurious:
- marked by anger, irritability
Since we are believers
we should not be doing things which God would consider morally
wrong
or bad, harmful or injurious , to anyone, but especially
to our brethren.
We all get angry or irritable sometimes and
that is not necessarily evil
unless it is deliberately meant to
cause harm or injury.
ONE-ANOTHERING IN ACTION:I
think we as believers know that we need to practice good and not
evil.
Every day we should seek to fill ourselves with the good
news of God's word
so there will be no room for anything evil
to dwell within us.
We need to let the light of Christ shine in
us so bright
that no amount of darkness can penetrate
us.
Then we will be speaking good and not evil, to our brethren
and also to the world.
For,"Whoever would love life and
see good days must keep his tongue from evil
and his lips from
deceitful speech.
He must turn from evil and do good; he must
seek peace and pursue it.1 Peter 3:10-11
