MEMBERS
OF ONE ANOTHER
so
we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members
of one another.
Romans 12:5[NKJV]
A
"One Anothering" Thought
Members
means:
- A distinct part of a whole
- A part of a body
- One that belongs to a group or an organization
We
believers are all members of Christ's body, yet we each have our
own distinct giftings, and we need to use those giftings for
the betterment of the body as a whole.
Just as the eye is one
part of the body, so is the foot, and each has it's own special
work to do to help the body be the best it can
be.
ONE-ANOTHERING IN ACTION:
This scripture says
it well:
Just as our bodies have many parts and each part
has a special function, so it is with Christ's body. We are
all parts of His one body, and each of us has different work to
do. And since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each
other, and each of us needs all the others. God has given
each of us the ability to do certain things well. Romans
12:4-5-6 [NLT]
