Planting Spiritual Seeds-Spread
Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.
2 Timothy 4:2
Spreading Seeds
Spreading seeds is a bit different than just scattering seeds. Spreading takes planning, more time, often patience, sometimes rejection from others, but it is what Jesus commanded us to do, so this should be our main life mission. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15
We should always be ready to preach the good news, for we never know when the Lord might bring someone across our path who needs to hear it.
Always be ready to give a [logical] defense to anyone who asks you to account for the hope and confident assurance [elicited by faith] that is within you, yet [do it] with gentleness and respect.
1 Peter 3:15
Some good ways to always be prepared are:
- Carry a small bible with you or have a Bible App on your phone
- Pray for opportunities and divine appointments
- Be able to easily share your own testimony of God’s saving grace to you.
- Memorize key salvation scriptures–Romans Road would be good ones
- Carry some Tracts with you to have available to share with others
