Prayer:
Dear
Lord, Just for Today, help me to put off all Bitterness.
Just for
Today...
may my words be pleasant instead of
unpleasant,
sweet instead of bitter,
kind instead of
sharp,
encouraging instead of cynical.
Just for Today let my
mouth honor You in all I say and do.
" lest any root of
bitterness springing up cause trouble,
and by this many become
defiled."
Hebrews 12:15 [NKJV]
Just for Today...
may my mind
and heart be focused on You Lord,
so that no root of bitterness
may spring up in my life and cause me, and others I interact
with to be poisoned with unbelief or trouble.
"JUST
FOR TODAY" DAILY DEVOTIONAL is a two-part program that focuses on
living one day at a time.
No matter what we are facing in our
lives the Bible says we are to live only for today.
We have no
guarantee of tomorrow, so we should not concern ourselves to worry
about it.
Therefore, the purpose of this Daily Devotional is to
give us strength for today so we can attempt to keep our focus on
God and off our daily circumstances.

in our life that we should

in our
life and is for 25 days.

among you,
for whenever it springs up, many are corrupted by its
poison.
Sharp tongues, bitter words, bitter roots of unbelief, these are all things scripture tells us as believers we need to put off in our lives.
Bitterness is as poison and it will destroy our lives and those with whom we interact.
Let's determine, Just for Today, to put off all Bitterness in our lives. |
