March 28–Proverb A Day–Day 28

Today’s Proverb:
He who covers his sins will not prosper,
But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.
Proverbs 28:13 [NKJV]

“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18 NKJV

Jesus came to cleanse us from all sin because sin separates us from God. Any sin in our lives hinders the Lord’s blessings. If we will confess and repent, the Lord will show us mercy, and He will forgive us and cleanse us. Then, He will be able to bless us and others through us.

For, If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 NKJV

Today’s Action:
Today:

  • I will not attempt to cover up my sins
  • I will confess my sins to God and repent of them
  • I will ask the Lord’s forgiveness
  • I will ask the Lord to cleanse me and bless me and others through me
